Synopsis
The holiday season has started and Molly Cooper is looking for joy. Finally living her childhood dream, Molly swaps her quaint farmhouse for London Financier Patrick Kingston’s posh apartment. On Channel 5 (in the UK), this film is titled Christmas in London, which is a bit of a misnomer as the English capital is represented by HD library footage – and exterior and studio mock-ups of good old Blighty that are regularly festooned with Union Jacks, just like in real life.
Anyway, romantically inclined Connecticut newspaper editor Molly (Laura Vandervoort) no longer has a job and so decides to head to London to start a new career – as an intern (at the age of 35…) at a swanky publishing house, despite having failed to enquire whether any such position exists. Oh, and she fully intends to meet and fall in love with a handsome Brit and live happily…

Nothing new.
Fairly bland film that didn't bring anything new to the table. It was simply ok, not terrible, a middle of the road Romantic film.

A Christmas Exchange- for movie about people who go to Connecticut and London where neither person did so this film is way better than it has any right to be. She could be frustrating but the script did a really good job of building their connection and helping me root for them

Cor blimey, it's Christmas in Lan-dan town! My favourite part of the city is also some generic Christmas lights which good enough to be used as an establishing shot at least four times. One of the establishing shots probably being from Scotland (containing the 500 bus - The Glasgow Airport Express) was also very amusing.
Outside of that and some dodgy accents there was actually a somewhat interesting central idea, but one ruined by the stupid way they introduced conflict. The film does wins points for lots of scenes involving a dog.
